Treatment Process FAQs

Answers to common questions — you’re welcome to ask anything in your first session.

How long does therapy take?

Treatment length varies. Some clients see significant improvement in 8–12 sessions, while others prefer ongoing support for deeper work.

Do you prescribe medication?

Our psychologists do not prescribe medication. We collaborate closely with psychiatrists and can provide referrals for medication evaluation when needed.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes, with rare exceptions required by law (imminent danger to self or others, child/elder abuse). We discuss confidentiality fully in your first session.

Do you offer virtual/online therapy?

Yes — secure telehealth sessions are available for clients who prefer remote access or have scheduling constraints.
